ACA was founded in 1989 to support West African organizations. Its main goal is to develop and disseminate best practices of management and organizational development in the public and private sectors in Senegal and the West African sub-region. ACA does this through training, institutional development, small and medium-sized enterprise development and monitoring and evaluation.

This grant supports ACA to evaluate the results, successes and challenges of the Rural Women's Think Tank funded by New Field Foundation and Ashoka.

This grant enables ACA to deepen its evaluation of New Field’s community grantmaking program through an in-depth study of eight women’s community organizations that received community grants.

With this grant, ACA will conduct an evaluation of New Field’s community grantmaking program in Casamance . It will also coordinate a financial management training for New Field partners from Senegal, Guinea Bissau, and Guinea.
