FEPAB is a nationwide federation of women’s and men’s producer organizations which aims to increase farm yields and revenues as it assists rural women to become more involved in economic development. It achieves this goal by providing information, guidance and training to its members, supplying inputs, and helping to market their products. FEPAB members produce approximately 60% of Burkina Faso’s nationally-grown food.

With this grant, FEPAB provides community grants to eight rural women’s groups in the provinces of Houet, Kénédougou and Léraba in Burkina Faso. Specifically, the grant aims to help the groups to improve the production and processing of local rice and vegetables, gain access to credit, and strengthen their technical, organizational and management skills.
