The AgroEcology Fund (AEF) is a multi-donor fund supporting grassroots initiatives and partnerships that advance agroecological solutions to food insecurity and climate change globally. In particular, AEF helps connect people, organizations and actions in different parts of the world for greater impact and shared learning. AEF is managed by New Venture Fund, a non-profit that helps donors and social entrepreneurs launch new projects quickly and effectively, collaborate with each other efficiently, and develop high-impact grant-making programs.

This grant contributes additional funds to the second round of AEF grantmaking, enabling grants to a total of eight collaboratives globally.

This grant contributes to a second round of grants to at least six collaboratives. It supports learning opportunities for grantees, advisors and donors, and enables the appointment of a part-time program consultant.
2011$250,0002 years
This grant contributes to the establishment of the AgroEcology Fund (AEF) and a first round of grants to be awarded to five collaboratives for a total of $1 million.
